Voice agents

Agents that take and make phone calls, and hold spoken conversations with customers.

16 agents, each with its inputs, outputs and review level checked by a person.

Voice agents hold spoken conversations on the phone or in an app: answering inbound calls, making outbound calls, booking appointments, qualifying callers and logging what happened. Some are finished products for a specific job, such as a receptionist or an appointment line; others are platforms on which a business or a developer builds its own agent with its own script and integrations. The listings record which kind each is, what it needs connected, and what it returns after a call.

Choose by the job and by who will build it. A ready-made receptionist works instantly with a phone number and a few settings. A platform gives full control over the conversation but needs configuration or a developer. In both cases, check the pricing model: most charge per minute of conversation, and the listing shows the published rate with the date it was checked.

Questions

Can callers tell they are talking to an agent?

Vendors describe their voices differently and some let you disclose it in the greeting. The catalogue does not rate voice quality; listen to the vendor's samples linked from the listing.

What happens when the agent cannot help?

Most voice agents transfer to a person or take a message and log the call. The outputs section of each listing shows what is returned after a call, such as a transcript, a summary or a booking.

How are voice agents priced?

Usually per minute, sometimes with a platform fee or a monthly plan that includes minutes. Each listing shows the model the vendor publishes and the date it was checked.
