What it does

Vapi is a platform for developers to build, deploy and manage voice agents for inbound and outbound calls, such as support lines, lead qualification and appointment scheduling. Users configure agents in a dashboard or through the API, choosing model, transcription and voice providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Deepgram and ElevenLabs, and connecting telephony through Twilio or Telnyx and tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot and Google Calendar. Calls can be monitored and transferred to a human. Vapi charges $0.05 per minute for hosting plus pass-through provider costs, with $5 of free credit to start and optional support packages from $29 per month.
