What it does
n8n is a workflow automation tool in which AI agents sit alongside explicit logic, more than 500 integrations, code and human approval steps. Teams build agents that route requests to models, answer support questions from their own documents, find leads or coordinate several agents, and can place a human-in-the-loop check at any point. It runs as a hosted cloud service or self-hosted, and a community edition is available free on GitHub under n8n's fair-code licence. Cloud plans are priced by monthly workflow executions.
