What it does
Wren AI takes a plain-language question, plans a query using a semantic model the team defines, runs it in place against sources such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, PostgreSQL and SQL Server, and returns an answer with a full audit trail. Outputs include natural-language answers, dashboards with drill-down and JSON responses for other agents, and an agentic mode runs multi-step reasoning in a sandbox. The context engine, text-to-SQL, MCP server and CLI are published on GitHub, while cloud and self-hosted editions add governance, row and column policies and enterprise security.
