What it does
Spotter is ThoughtSpot's analytics agent. A business user asks a question in natural language, Spotter translates it into search tokens grounded in the governed semantic layer rather than raw text-to-SQL, then runs multi-step reasoning, tests assumptions and reruns the analysis before returning an answer with a full audit trail. It learns from past conversations and Liveboards, lets teams choose the underlying model, and can create tickets, update CRM records or post to Slack. The Pro plan lists Spotter at 25 queries per month per user.
