What it does

Claude Code is Anthropic's coding agent for the terminal, IDEs, the web, mobile and Slack. You describe a task or point it at a GitHub issue; it reads the codebase, asks clarifying questions, edits files, runs commands and tests, and opens a pull request, asking for permission before it modifies files or runs commands. It is included in the Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans and is also available through the API at standard usage pricing.
