What it does
Elicit takes a research question, searches a corpus of over 138 million papers plus PubMed and ClinicalTrials.gov, and returns a structured report with sentence-level citations. For systematic reviews it screens up to 40,000 papers against criteria the user agrees, edits or adds, extracts data from text, tables and figures into a table, and synthesises findings across up to 200 papers. Every automated decision shows the supporting quote or figure so a researcher can check it before finalising. It is used by researchers in pharma, academia, medical devices and policy.
